But beneath all of that was something more personal. His late mother had a deep love for diamonds, not just for their beauty, but for what they represented: strength, memory and permanence. That appreciation stayed with him. Over time, it became more than a memory, it became a quiet motivation to build something that honoured that same sense of meaning, something lasting, something felt. Growing up between India, the UAE and the UK, jewellery was never just decoration. In India, it was heritage, gold worked by hand, traditional settings and Polki craft, pieces that held memory in their weight. In the UAE, it was theatre, a global meeting point where luxury was expressive and intentional, worn by people who understood exactly what they were saying when they put something on. And in the UK, where he eventually made his home, it was something quieter. A realisation. A gap.

The Realisation

The finest craftsmanship in the world existed, but it was hidden. Ornate Polki Diamond pieces saved for weddings, kept behind closed doors, only worn when the occasion felt worthy enough. Beautiful things, living in the dark.

That didn’t feel right.
